Research clearly shows physical activity to be the most potent lifestyle intervention to improve the overall health and wellbeing of adolescents. And yet, less than 50% of school aged children currently reach the recommended target of 60 minutes per day.
MOVE60 is a pioneering curriculum delivering new approaches and contemporary content to PE classes in Key Stage 3. It has been carefully designed by a leading practitioner to motivate movement for all pupils and tackle the inactivity epidemic head-on.
The initial MOVE60 unit provides a coherent half term’s worth of lessons and resources that are simple to follow for all teachers, including those with limited or no experience of delivering in this area.
Nothing else is required – just a commitment to promote active wellbeing for all pupils and a desire to make a difference that will last a lifetime.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT MOVE60?
MOVE60 really does come with everything needed to deliver great PE lessons; it even provides script ideas for meaningful 'Team Talks' and cues to help 'Prime the Environment', which meant that I could focus attention on my delivery and the pupils in front of me. This type of content and resource is the future for our subject.

MOVE60 is brilliant. It’s a refreshing take on a really important part of Physical Education. Teaching it, I felt like I was genuinely able to impact ALL pupils positively.

PE lessons felt different with MOVE60 – the engagement was clear from lesson one and this grew as the unit progressed. I loved teaching it and I’m confident that every pupil had a positive experience too. The atmosphere was always inclusive and energised… just how PE should feel!
